Dirty River - acoustic rock

Images

Well now. This is where we show off a little and just let the pictures do the talking. It may take a bit to load on slower connections - but it did take longer to take the pictures, so bear with us.

The control room - looking strangely empty & tidy(ish)

Some of the Channel Strips & outboard effects

The workspace cluttered as ever. Note our old Asatic Silver Eagle foldback microphone !

Marik on the drums & a session in full flow

Mark tuning the J100 Gibson Jumbo - note the three microphones

The desk, simple, basic and has automated faders

Hearing yourself is as important as recording well - our bins rack for your aural delight

Barry & his viola (NOT a violin !!)

Mid Side stereo microphone technique on the Marshall

Mark on the Gretsch Country Club

Each of the major foodgroups - Gretsch,Godin,Fender Tele,Martin 00015 & Gretsch

The inimitable Mr Hunter on the Bodhran

Basic drum microphone technique for a basic drummer !

Good grief ! It's a long way down here - scroll back up quick before the oxygen runs out.

Come On Down

Don't just look at the pictures. Come down to see us, have a look around and get a feel for the place. We're definately not glass-fronted with lots of exotic plants but we are kind of pround of the gritty ambiance about the place. We make a mean pot of tea and we have been known to brew some of the finest coffee in Walthamstow. Although Walthamstow isn't that large a place come to think of it... We've even got some herbal teabags somewhere - no idea where they came from, just one of those mysteries.
