Recording & Production Rates

We're talking your pennies here, so lets keep it simple.

We have an off-the-shelf rate of £25 per hour with a minimum 2 hours (excluding weekends/bank holidays).But it makes more sense to take us on for a whole session.

Weekday Sessions* (8 Hrs - 10am to 6pm - arrive at 9.45)

£160 Weekday Session

£300 Two Weekday Sessions booked together

£420 Three Weekday Sessions booked together

£540 Four Weekday Sessions booked together

£600 Full week of Sessions booked together

Weekday Evening Sessions (4hrs 6.30pm - 10.30pm)

£100 Weekday Evening Session

£180 Two Weekday Evening Sessions booked together

£250 Three Weekday Evening Sessions booked together

£320 Four Weekday Evening Sessions booked together

£550 Five Weekday Evening Sessions booked together

£750 Ten Weekday Evening Sessions booked together

Weekend & Bank Holiday Sessions

£250 per Day Session - 8 Hrs - 10am to 6pm - arrive at 9.45

£130 per Evening Session - 4 Hrs from 6.30pm to 10.30pm

Night Sessions (11pm - 7am)

Only for nutcases. But we can do it.

Give us a call to discuss timing & cost as we have to plan this around the rest of our waking hours. Best to remember that your hearing gets tired just as you do, and you may not notice those little niggles when listening at the end of a graveyard shift.

Sometimes it is the only way to meet a deadline though.

Our guys are into it as much as you are and so generally we will be OK to carry on slightly longer if we have no other session booked in. We do have a life though and it is polite to check with us first if you think things could run on.

We usually charge £20 per extra hour if you have already been in during the day.

CD Mastering of finished mixes

Money Matters

It is your hard earned money & we'll work hard to earn our money. In order to make the most of our discounted rates, all studio sessions should be paid for in full when starting the recording. If you need extra days to tag on to the end we'll charge them at the relevant discounted rate.

A deposit of 10% is required to confirm the booking either in person or by cheque in the post. This will be deducted off your bill at the end of your session here at Dirty River. The deposit is non-refundable.

Planning Your Time

You might wish to call and "pencil in" a few provisional dates so that you can later gather various members of your band before any solid booking has been agreed. This is fine, and we'll call if you in the interim period if another confirmed booking comes in on any of your provisional dates.

We've all been in bands and we all have home lives too, so we're happy to move the booking dates if we can, providing you give us at least a weeks notice.
