Diverse have designed a wide range of optical instruments for testing
water quality. These have been used for detecting particles, dissolved
salts, pH, conductivity, temperature, flow etc. The instruments have been
installed at various water treatment plants in the UK.
Diverse are no longer actively involved in selling to this market. Information
about these products is made available here to showcase the range of instruments
Diverse have designed and, should the market opportunity arise, we could
produce variants of these for new markets. |

FPM1 - Fine Particle Monitor
Identifies the presence of particles above 2 microns in diameter for the
routine monitoring of water supplies. Its technique that produces an all
in one number representing particulate levels allows simple monitoring
for filter breakages by staff who would be confused by particle counting. |

PCS Particle Counting System
Continuous, on-line particle counting designed for local or remote access.
Particles from 2um are counted and binned for histogram assessment. For
remote access PCS2000 works with either land-line or GSM modem. The central
data collection unit can interface to up to 16 nodes each collecting the
particle information from different water sources. |

Easy-Flo
Designed for PCS2000, this provides bubble free samples at the corect
flow rate. The system incorporates header tank, bubble trap and flow control
pump. |

Chameleon Controller
Intelligent, integrated, programmable logic controller. This unit is a
cross between a data logger and a smart controller. It is designed to
work in a wide range of applications such as optimisation of chemical
dosing for water purification systems. It does this by responding to inputs
from a variety of sources, and computes from this array how the dosing
instrumentation should be controlled. It is tailored to specific applications,
so its cost includeds an allowance for the programming and set up in bespoke
scenarios. |

IN-SENSE
Water Monitor
This robust stainless steel sond continuously monitors water in the distribution
network for turbidity, pressure, conductivity and temperature. It is a
smart data logger, with the collected data being downloaded wirelessly
using GSM modem, or Bluetooth. |
