Local serial interface or Remote access
system
The PCS2000 software system has been designed to provide
users with swift and efficient data collection from their
particle counting systems.
Particle counters can produce huge amounts of data. The
PCS2000 software provides a means of collecting, archiving
and analysing this information.
The DIVERSE Particle Counting System provides data on
particles in up to 8 different categories across 1-16
different nodes at pre-set time intervals. One PCS2000
system can produce nearly 1Mbyte of data every day! This
data needs to be collected for archive and assessment as the
system will overwrite old records, preserving the most
current.
Features of the software:
The PCS2000 software will run on any windows 95/98 system
and is designed to provide a convenient route for collection
of PCS data.
The data is integrated into a database of measurements
with tools supplied to help analyse the results. The data is
then saved automatically in a standard database format which
can be conveniently archived for regulatory purposes.

The particle counting system PCS2000 enables the
continuous monitoring of particle counting units in attended
or unattended locations. This will allow the centralised
collection of data automated by user set time parameters,
but with the security of an automatic alarm condition being
generated if the monitored particle ranges exceed pre-set
levels.
The PCS2000 can also monitor the differential pressure
across a filter.
DIVERSE supplies the water industry with consultancy
expertise as well as instruments. While the PCS2000 is a
standard product both the particle counting system and the
software can be configured to suit particular requirements.
