Scanner Actuator Project

DIVERSE has designed a torsion bar scanner motor for high speed scanning of light beams in the entertainment industry. This type of actuator must operate at high speed, and have excellent accuracy.

The task was accomplished through a combination of in-house skills in optics, magnetics, electronics and control, together with work undertaken by Cambridge University.

Linescan Camera Design

In some particularly cost sensitive products, the design of the linescan camera is required to reduce production costs. DIVERSE has designed a linescan camera, which provided pixel mapping, automatic level control and computer DMA support, all on a board the size of a box of matches.
