Cars of 2002 - ones wot 'ave pictures available, anyway!
1990
Ford Scorpio 2.9 Auto Estate. Bought for £100, plus £180 for tyres and £60 on
factory CD changer, had done 200,000 miles and drove well. I even drove it in
the weather shown! RWD didn't present a problem. Was written off in January 2003
by a woman in a Colt who ran into the back of it.

1995 Citroen XM 2.0cT (Constant Torque) Exclusive, swapped for the white Subaru
4dr sedan in February 2002. In very nice condition, and wonderful to drive, but
now 'resting' due to the exhaust manifold failing. Will be taken to a specialist
and restored one day, but until then it resides in a garage, not forgotten, but
sadly not driven either.
It was given a tailblazer soon
after getting it, and new number plates.
The interior is suede and
leather, with electronic climate control, electric everything (most of it still
works), and loads of room. Somewhat better made than the old XM, too.

1993 Subaru Legacy GL. I swapped this rather boring car for a lovely Subaru 4Cam
Turbo estate - my dad got a 1999 Outback, and the old Turbo that I'd found for
him a year or so before passed to me to sell and use. The exhaust went, which is
a pretty expensive repair, so I swapped it for the Legacy above. That car was a
little better, but I swapped it (having not really needed 4x4 this year) for the
XM :)
