When I sold my original Sera, my sister's partner, Colin, was quite keen to buy it. Universal Truth: Never sell a car to a relative. Ever. It's just bad news. Anyway, he decided he didn't like the colour, so my car went to Brighton after I replaced the tyres, MOT'd it and sent away whilst I fretted about all the jobs I hadn't done - apparently the new owner is very happy with it and plans to have it repainted very soon, so it will have the cosmetics to match the expensive engine rebuild.
Colin bought a very nice Opal (silvery colour) Sera on eBay instead. It looked very nice and served them well for a few months, until an unfortunate incident with a Nissan Micra. Having discovered that insurance companies really don't want to help when dealing with imports and young drivers, they were left with not much money and a rather bent car.
I've agreed to buy it; or do something with it, anyway - so I collected it from Cambridge, drove it back, and got to work. So far, the A/C radiator is the scariest bill it will face, but the hardest repair will be getting the front panel back into shape.

If you have any information, feedback or comments on this website, I can be reached by emailing sera(at)dmc12.demon.co.uk - there is no link at present due to the amount of spam and Swen-type emails I've had, I have no desire to have more harvested!
