Tideswell Fell Race return home

Starting from the Picnic site in Tideswell Dale, the course drops down through the dale and along to Litton Mill where it crosses the River Wye by the footbridge. Then climbing up to the disused railway line which is now the Monsal Trail, the route crosses the trail and turns up the steep hill through the old mine workings before joining Bulltor Lane. Turning right along the lane to New Barn and another right turn to the stile above the Nature Reserve. Over the stile, then plunging down the hill through the woods at Priestcliff Lees, emerging once more to cross the Monsal Trail and descend a series of steep steps to the footbridge below the Youth Hostel entrance. Cross the bridge and turn right towards the dale. Turn left into the dale and back up to the picnic site car park and the finish line.
