The choir is a small, friendly and versatile group of singers who meet on
a Wednesday evening at the United Reformed Methodist Church, Saffory Close, Eastwood.
The Chorale was established in 1979 by some members of the New Rayleigh
Choral Society. The choir has a varied repertoire performing works ranging from
Handal and Bach through to Lloyd-Webber and the Beatles.
The choir performs about 3 concerts each year. To provide variety
for it's members (and audience) these usually alternate between light music such as
medleys from shows etc, and more traditional choral music such as Faure's Requiem, Messiah
etc.
