We are frequently called upon to act as an expert witness in legal cases. Our impartiality and breadth of knowledge means that we can readily act for clients and the court in an effort to reach a settlement. Recent work has always been settled out of court, saving our clients and the court both time and money.

Our experience in working with the legal profession, barristers and solicitors, allows us to understand exactly what is needed as quickly as possible. We can also provide expert "jargon-free" briefings!

Working with Masons Solicitors we advised Somerfields Supermarkets in a dispute involving Vodafone's leasing of some area in a store. We compiled a detailed technical report looking at the issues surrounding the potential removal of Vodafone's equipment and its implications for Vodafone's mobile phone network. The dispute was settled before the court hearing.

Electrotest

Electrotest is a company that services electrical equipment across the UK. They bought a vehicle location system from MinorPlanet but were unhappy with its performance. Electrotest asked ECS to produce an independent report on the system. Electrotest and MinorPlanet reached an agreement before court proceedings were required.
