Fault Finding
What We do exploratory work to find
and rectify all types of faults, on both a small and large
scale.
We endeavour to find the fault as quickly as possible
and allow yourselves to decide what course of action is taken
following our recommendation.
NICEIC Periodic Inspection Reports
The purpose of a periodic inspection is to
determine, so far as is reasonably practicable, whether an
electrical installation is in a satisfactory condition for
continued service. The report provides an assessment of the
condition of the electrical installation at the time it was
inspected, taking into account the stated extent of the
installation and the limitations of the inspection and testing.
The report is
issued in accordance with the national standard for the safety
of electrical installations, British Standard 7671: 2001 (as
amended). Also for safety reasons, the electrical installation
will need to be re-inspected at appropriate intervals by a
competent person such as an Approved Contractor.
Electric City,Will:
- Identify the characteristics of the installation
- Record the checks, tests and observations performed
- Note test results and any deviations observed; and
- Categorise deviations in order of importance i.e. identify
findings requiring urgent attention.
Where an
electrical installation is found to be in an unsatisfactory
condition Electric City Will then give a free estimate for the
associated remedial work to bring the installation up to the
required standard.
