PAINTING
QUEST
Lefkas
- Greek Islands
Plockton - The Highland West Coast of Scotland
Join
us on a voyage into the unconscious, re-connecting to the
great well within us through the medium of painting. This
programme is for people at a place of transition in their
lives or who want to reconnect to their inner world and is
an invitation to explore the implications of understanding
and change.
We
will be supporting an enquiry into your beliefs, interests
and desires. We will use poetry, myth, painting, creative
activity, retreats, meditation and walking to review and renew.
All this in a beautiful environment and living a healthy lifestyle
to open up to your deeper story, to discover and bring about
the changes that emerge in this supportive situation of relaxed,
playful and heightened attention.
You
are encouraged to paint what rises in you, developing a relationship
with the act of painting to open and gain new meaning and
understanding in regard to yourself and your life.
There
is also an opportunity to retreat and take some supported
quiet time alone in the wild if you wish. A night retreat
is also available on the Island. This is a special opportunity
to say goodbye to that which no longer serves you, it demarks
and symbolises the end of unwanted beliefs and behaviours
and experiences that we are ready to leave.
There
will be personal support time for one to one discussions with
the facilitators.
We will supply you with a journal, paper, paint and brushes.
Using materials from the beaches you are encouraged to create
a structure in the wild sharing with us your story if you
wish.
This
is an opportunity for lightness of spirit, playfulness and
humour as we bring balance back into our lives. It is a rich
and rewarding time of renewal sharing a journey with others
of like mind and a celebration of life and creativity.
