The Ellesmere Port & Neston Credit Union is a savings and loan co-operative which is owned and run by local people for local people. It is a 'not for profit' organisation, any surplus made is returned to members as a dividend on savings.

The Ellesmere Port & Neston Credit Union is open to anyone who lives or works (including voluntary work and studying) in the Borough of Ellesmere Port & Neston.

If you join the Credit Union and are aged 16 and over, you will be classed as members, those aged under 16 will be classed as junior savers.

Credit Unions are run by their members for their members. The Board of Directors and other standing committee positions are elected by the membership at the Annual General Meeting. These positions must be held by volunteers.
