About Us

We are a small family-run secondhand bookshop located in the centre of Eye in north Suffolk.  Opened in December 2008, and the only s/h bookshop in the area, we aim to offer a wide range of good quality secondhand books in good condition.  Our opening times are Tuesdays 10 - 1, then Wednesday to Saturday 10 to 4.00 inclusive. If you are making a special visit, please ring us on 01379 870190 to confirm we are open when you intend to come. 

Our shop forms part of an historic jumble of listed buildings which together formed the old White Lion coaching inn and its Assembly Room, in use until recently as the Eye Theatre.  Next to the shop is the former entrance to the inn's yard, with its unique 'Posting Establishment' sign above it.

We are always interested in buying good quality books and can call out to view large collections.
