Company History
During the 1970s the development of more sophisticated elastomers and advanced polymers meant that an ever increasing range of seals and seal materials became available. Fairway Seals was established in 1977 to fulfil a need in the market place for a company specialising in seals and related products, as opposed to the 'jack of all trades' approach that had been taken in the past.
The company quickly became profitable and achieved rapid growth; soon new premises were required to provide storage space for the ever increasing stockholding. This growth continued throughout the 1980s driven by a high level of technical expertise and competitive pricing. The worldwide recession in the early 1990s saw the company consolidate to maintain its' position in the market place.
From that point until the present day the company has achieved sustained growth and profitability, driven by the founding principles of technical expertise and competitive pricing to give the highest quality products and service.
In order to maintain that growth as world markets change once again, the company has expanded its’ range of products to include special mouldings of all kinds. This has necessitated the company moving into its present larger premises in order to offer greater ex-stock availability.
An alliance with a specialist manufacturer has enabled low volume mouldings and tooling to be produced at very competitive prices.
