The Fitzwilliams Centre is situated at the Rear of St. Mary's Church away from the hustle and bustle of larger venues and will be ideal for your event - meeting, conference, training programme, celebration dinner, reception and the like. For the larger event, on the Ground Floor, there is a spacious Reception area in which to gather.
The Main Hall can accommodate up to 120 people in theatre style or 100 for a formal dinner. It has a pull out divider and is equipped with an audio system and projection screens. An OHP and slide projector are available.
There is also a well equipped kitchen.
Leading off from the Hall there is a covered area opening out onto the walled garden. There is plenty of pathing, leading to a grassed area and is ideal for use on fine days for photo calls etc.
On the first floor there are three more rooms;
Depending on layout, the largest will seat up to forty people and the medium room up to thirty people. The smallest room, which is furnished in an informal style, can seat twelve.
All these rooms have a flip chart stand. An OHP and television/video player are available for use in these 1st. floor rooms.
On this floor there is a small kitchen for the preparation of beverages.
