Automatic Feeders
In today's high performing, high efficiency world many of you will require more than a simple hand fed flowrapper. Almost by their very nature feeding systems need to be customised to a greater or lesser extent to match your particular products. This is why the design, manufacturer and expert support of all our automatic feed systems is handled directly by us in the UK.
We have developed two adaptable and modular products, which form the core of any in-line feed system - the "SlipFeed" and the "MultiFeed". Both are suited to many different types of individual and trayed products with the SlipFeed offering a low-cost low-pressure continuous product flow and the MultiFeed giving true contactless feeding for delicate products. A SlipFeed unit is an option on any of our Electronic flowrappers. It is mounted within the space conventionally occupied by the infeed forming a fully integrated automatic packing system.

MultiFeed
 The MultiFeed is a configurable multi-belt feeder. It accepts product at random, accumulates gaps and positions it into the infeed lugs of the flow-wrapper with no product to product or mechanical contact. It is ideal for high speed packing of delicate or sticky products. High performance servo motors and sophisticated software manipulate the product using a minimum of five short belt conveyors. Depending on the application up to nine conveyors may be used.
The conveyors are modular in design with lengths and widths customised to suit the application. The electronic control system is fully integrated into the flowrapper and is set-up and operated through the existing touch sensitive screen and shares the same product memory and appropriate parameters. Manufactured in stainless steel with a choice of belt materials it is hygienic and easy to clean and maintain.

SlipFeed
 The SlipFeed system is our low pressure automatic accumulator feeder. It is perfect for trayed products, punnets, boxes and products which can withstand light contact. Accumulation is achieved by monitoring the product as it flows onto either a belted, plastic link, metal link, or a slip-torque "pressure less" conveyor, depending on the specific application and product. Mechanically integrated into any flow-wrapper it takes the place of the conventional infeed section and makes an excellent automation package.
Sophisticated electronics and software developed for us by one of Europe's leaders in positional control systems assures each system caters for a range of products with minimal set-up and fixed sensor positions. It accepts random product flow directly from the upstream process or it can be used to ease the constraints of manual feeding at speed. An economy version which handles four different product sizes coupled to the 550 series flow-wrapper forms a complete automated system at a lower cost than many manually fed flow-wrappers. When integrated into the 750 series it shares the same control platform and is set-up and controlled directly from the flow-wrapper touch sensitive display.

Conveyors
We offer a full range of conveyors from standard low cost belt and roller conveyors to custom made special purpose product handling. Standard versions are sourced from one of our UK or Italian trading partners while custom ones are manufactured at our special engineering division in the UK. Special arrangements mean we can offer standard versions at a competitive price. This means you have a single expert source for the primary machine and as much of the peripheral equipment, system design, installation and support services that you want. This can be a real bonus in simplifying almost all aspects of a packaging system and certainly when it comes to complex or custom lines.
Standard Conveyors:
Belt, plastic link and roller conveyors in a variety of finishes including food grade stainless steel. Standard linear conveyors, turning conveyors, ramp and step conveyors. Either stand alone or integrated into a packaging system and operated directly from the flowrapper.
Turntables:
Turntables in various sizes and configurations. Either stand alone or fully integrated into a control system so, for instance, it automatically tracks the speed of the flowrapper from one product memory to another.
Special Function Conveyors:
Convergers, diverters, collators, turning, reject, etc. Your product may need special handling and our UK engineering division are experienced specialists in product handling

Tray Denesters
Many products are packed in plastic or similar trays. We are able to offer a range of tray denesters suitable for most tray styles and materials. A new version aimed at the lower speed applications is particularly cost effective and offers an extremely viable alternative to manual denesting.
Tray denesters can be an essential part of an automated line or be simply used as a production aid on a manually fed line. Smooth untroubled operation that can handle a wide variety of tray materials and forms is inherent in the denesters supplied by us.
