G-HIVE
Cessna 150

This is the aeroplane that Cessna designed for the student pilot and within which it is most economical to train. The C150 is familiar to most pilots throughout the world.

The Cessna range of aircraft offer good all round visibility, especially below, and being high wing are excellent for such operations as aerial photography. They are very forgiving in handling and economical to operate and therefore the most popular trainers.

G-BAEP
Cessna 150 Aerobat

This is the sister aircraft to G-HIVE, shown above. Again this aircraft was designed for the student pilot.
Cessna introduced the model 150 Aerobat in 1970 and it soon became very popular in the Aerobatic training market, and remains one of the most popular sport airplanes.

This variant of the Cessna 150 trainer is structurally enhanced for limited +6/-3g aerobatics.

G-AZTS
Cessna 172 Skyhawk

Cessna intended the Skyhawk to be the family aeroplane and therefore a natural purchase for the freshly qualified pilot who has trained on the popular C150. The roomy cabin space, large baggage hold and four seats make it superior in its class both as a tourer and advanced trainer. G-AZTS is fully IFR capable for use in UK controlled airspace and is regularly used for Commercial Pilot training.

Cessna were the first of the aircraft manufacturers to offer the family an aeroplane in much the same way as Mr. Ford promoted his cars. To this end they are economical and user friendly to the private pilot and can be found in most flying clubs throughout the world.

The Piper Cherokee PA28-140 remains one of Piper's greatest workhorses and while offering touring in comfort was primarily intended by Piper to be a first class high performance trainer.
