The JAR Private Pilot Licence
Structured flight training, fully integrated with ground school sessions. The licence is internationally acceptable and will allow you to fly a light aircraft anywhere in the world. The flight training syllabus requires you to undergo a minimum of 45 hours flight training. The minimum age for the JAR private pilot licence training is 14, going solo is 16 and a licence will not be issued before the student is 17. No academic qualifications are required, however you will require a Class 2 medical.

The National Private Pilot Licence
Structured flight training, fully integrated with ground school sessions. The licence will allow you to fly a light aircraft in UK airspace in good weather. The flight training syllabus requires you to undergo a minimum of 32 hours flight training. The minimum age for the NPPL private pilot licence training is 14, going solo is 16 and a licence will not be issued before the student is 17. No academic qualifications are required, however you will require a GP Medical Declaration signed by your own doctor.

IMC Rating Pilot Training
The Instrument Meteorological Conditions IMC rating will enable you to fly an aeroplane in UK airspace in poor weather, and with sole reference to the aeroplane's instrumentation.
IMC training is an invaluable skill for any pilot as it opens up far more opportunities, allowing you to fly in a wider range of weather conditions. Ideal for the UK.

Night Rating Pilot Training
A night rating is a very useful addition to your PPL which allows you to fly after sunset and before sunrise. Night flying can be a fantastic experience and of course increase your skills as a pilot.
5 hours are required including a navigation exercise out of the control zone. We night fly right through the Autumn and Winter, and it can be a useful project on the long winter nights.
