ASTON MARTIN DB5 - BMT216A, LU6789, 4711EA62
Goldfinger (1964), Thunderball (1965)

Aston Martin had been manufacturing British sports cars since 1920, but it was not until the company was bought by David Brown (of tractor fame) in 1947, that the Feltham company moved into the supercar league, The DB5, essentially a re-working of the DB4 was the first to be built at the company's new premises at Newport Pagnell.

The car made it's first appearance in "Goldfinger", and featured rotating license plates, two forward firing machine guns, rear firing water jets, smoke screen, radar, oil slick sprayer, an ejector seat, and a bulletproof shield in back. The "007" DB5, often referred to as "The Most Famous Car in the World", was stolen from a private collection in 1997.
