Pinners Place

The parish boundary for Gt Malvern (including Guarlford) extended out as far as Newland and encompassed North End. No wonder I could find no reference to Bunn’s Green in the Madresfield Census. It seems the brook at the bottom of the hill below Pinners Place formed the boundary. When I checked Gt Malvern Census I soon found the farm at North End the cottages at Bunn’s Green and Pinner’s Place.

Pinner’s Place was home in 1851 to a farmer, Henry Mathews* who farmed 50 acres and employed two labourers.
