By Car
From Bridgewater (M5 junction 23)
Follow the A39 towards Minehead, continue to Porlock and up Porlock Hill and then, still on the
A39, on to Lynmouth. Follow the right hand turn to Lynton up the hill, turning right at the junction. Go through the town passing the Town Hall on your right, Gable Lodge is on your right opposite the United Reform Church.
From Tiverton (M5 junction 27)
Follow the A361 to Tiverton and then to South Molton. Here take the A399 towards Ilfracombe,
about halfway to Ilfracombe at Blackmoor Gate, turn off this road on to the A39 to Lynton. Turn
left at Barbrook Petrol Station and take the left turn at the next junction to Lynton. As you come
round the sharp bend take the left turn, signposted town centre and turn right at the T junction.
Gable Lodge is a few hundred yards down the road on the left, opposite the United Reform
Church.
By public transport
The nearest train station is Barnstaple. A frequent bus service runs from Barnstaple to Lynton
