Gartconnel Stud -- since 1969 we have been breeding quality Coed Coch line bred Welsh mountain ponies.

The Gartconnel Stud nestles between the Campsie hills and Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park some 16 miles north west of Glasgow, only 30 minutes from Glasgow Airport.

Sharing a hill farm with sheep and cattle these beautiful ponies live in the rough developing as nature intended, allowed to mature at their own pace. With all stock being line bred from three foundation mares purchased in the 1960s no further purchases have been made. Stallions being outsourced for their appropriate bloodlines.
