The genuine British pre-decimal coins on the front of these Teddy 'Bear Hugs' Birthday Cards show the year the birthday person was born.
Subject to the birth year, the coin will be a sixpence, silver threepence or farthing:
- sixpence coins for a 40th to 60th birthday;
- silver threepence or farthing coins for a 55th birthday, and 61st to 97th birthday.
If the Teddy Bear birthday card is for an 18th birthday, the coin will be a 1918 silver threepence.
If the Teddy Bear birthday card is for a 21st birthday, the coin will be a 1921 silver threepence.
If the Teddy Bear birthday card is for someone aged 39 or younger, we will select a sixpence showing the national emblems of England (rose), Wales (leek), Ireland (shamrock) and Scotland (thistle).
Let us know the birthday person's name (or Mum, Dad, Grandma etc..) so that we can print their name on the front of the card. The card example below is a birthday card with a sixpence for 'Louise'.
We will print your personal greetings message in a gold-coloured script font on the inner leaves of the card.
Each Teddy Bear Birthday Card is 4 UK pounds 99 pence (this includes VAT & postage to a UK address). The card is 14 x 14 cms.
