Gildas Books was formed in October 2005 and we took over the the premises at 2 City Walls, Chester in
November 2005 (previously occupied for 14 years by Words and Music). We are open 7 days a week from 10-5 and have new stock
arriving on a daily basis. We Specialise in History, Archaeolgy and Celtic Studies and even stock a few new titles within
these fields. We are happy to search for out of print titles and are always keen to purchase items within our specialist
fields.As well as our specialist subjects we stock a good range of paperback fiction from Classics through to Science-fiction,
Modern first editions, Plays, Poetry, Childrens Books, British Topography, Foreign Travel, Mountaineering, Popular Science,
Psychology, Philiosophy and a few other bits!
