The club is based at Portobello High School in Edinburgh and competes in the Scottish National League, Lothian League and Local Edinburgh League. The teams that represent the Club in these leagues are -

CITY OF EDINBURGH KINGS

The Kings are the City of Edinburgh Basketball Club's men's team.

CITY OF EDINBURGH KOOL KATS

The Kool Kats are the City of Edinburgh Basketball Club's women's team.

CITY OF EDINBURGH WILD KATS

The Wild Kats Under 14s are the club's newest team having been formed at the start of the 2005-2006 season.
