For several years now we have been assisting goatkeepers and smallholders as well as larger farmers with the sale and purchase of secondhand dairy and production equipment. We would now like to take the opportunity to expand this service and have therefore included details of the second hand items that are currently available. Some are located here at Goat Nutrition whereas other items are sited at the sellers premises. Items highlighted have further information or pictures available.

90 gallon (410 litre) Grundy Tanks. There are 17 of these tanks available (November 2009), some are without lids (although lids could be manufactured here). They have all been used for food use only and are in excellent condition. Best of all, prices start at just £385.

There are also 5 of the 180 gallon (820 litre) Grundy Tanks available, all with excellent 'manway' hatches. All the Grundies are fitted with take off taps. Contact G.N. for further details.

Mercedes Sprinter 7.5 tonne Refrigerated Lorry. In excellent condition throughout. Full service history. The refrigeration works perfectly and temperatures can be adjusted to suit. £5750

500 litre Milk-tank Trailer. Complete with manway hatch, towbar, jockey wheel. Stainless steel interior with threaded take-off outlet. Ideal for transporting milk around the farm or taking to the dairy etc. Can be easily transported using any suitable towing vehicle e.g. Land Rover, Tractor, 4 X 4 etc. In good roadworthy condition. £625

40' Refrigerated storage containers. 2 available, both currently in use and in perfect working order. At the moment one is set up as a chiller whilst the other is a freezer, but both can operate in either format. Totally stainless interiors, with full temperature control. Organic Farm Equipment Sale After many years of local supply, a small dairy in the north of England has reluctantly decided to retire from the retail side and therefore has all of their production equipment for sale.
