Golden Valley Insurance Services has been providing specialist insurance services since 1988 and Sharron O’Gorman, proprietor of the firm, has been an insurance broker since 1980.

In dealing with your enquiry, we only offer information and advice on the specific products available from our firm. We do not research the market or advise on any other products but we provide all the information you need in order to make your own decision as to the suitability of our products for your particular demands or needs.

The written information sent in response to your enquiry, contains details of the insurers concerned for the particular insurance plus full information of cover and charges. An administration fee of £10.00 may apply at renewal to cover some of the cost of servicing your policy.

Complaints
If you have reason to be dissatisfied with our firm’s service, you can complain by writing initially to
Sharron O’Gorman, Proprietor of Golden Valley Insurance Services. If you then remain dissatisfied, you can refer the matter to the Financial Services Authority by calling 0845-606-1234 and, if you still remain dissatisfied, the complaint can be referred to the Financial Ombudsman Services and details will be provided at the appropriate stage of the complaints process.

Protections of the Compensation Scheme for Your Total Peace of Mind
Where an insurer or intermediary is unable to meet its obligations, you may be entitled to compensation from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The amount of compensation will be equal to 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.

Completion of Proposal Forms
Your attention is particularly drawn to the importance of the Declaration and Signature on the proposal form. Any failure to disclose facts material to the insurance or any inaccuracies in your answers could invalidate the cover. Please read the form and answer all questions carefully. Our Guarantee
When you receive your policy documents, if you are not completely happy with the terms and conditions, just return it to us within 14 days for a full refund of all monies paid, providing or course that you have not made a claim.
