News Flash (Updated 4th June 2011).... "GAC Exhibition Stand - Great Success"
Following the arrival of the Wild Trout Trust Advisory Visit Report GAC attended the Haslemere Charter Fair and received over a hundred visitors to the Exhibition Stand. The club held two prize competitions for the younger visitors with prizes donated by Frensham Garden Centre and Grayshott Tackle Shop. On display were photos of conservation work undertaken within the last year and plans for the future. The WTT featured heavily with a seperate display on the stand demonstrating the extent of work carried out in both the UK and Ireland........Watch this space!

The Club
Grayshott Angling Club has been established for many years. The club is situated on the Surrey/Hampshire border between Haslemere and Farnham controlling river and lakes in some of the most beautiful countryside in the South of England. Match and leisure fishing are available for all ages and abilities with applications for new membership always welcome. A wide variety of fishing venues are available.
The Venues
River Wey (South)
This idyllic mile of the upper reaches of the River Wey contains many varieties of fish including Chub, Perch, Roach, Trout and Pike. To view more pictures of the river and further information click on the tab button, top left "River Wey"

Grayswood Lake
The private lake hidden in the hills below Hindhead Common offers coarse fishing, with fish up to 10 pounds, at its very best. Stocked some fifteen years ago this tranquil lake offers great sport for all ages and abilities.

The Lakes at Waggoners Wells
Well established by the National Trust over many years this set of three lakes offers Carp to thirty pounds, Roach, Perch and much more.....Click on the left hand Tab to see more pictures and history.

1. GAC Open Fishing Day - 2009
Grayshott Angling Club held its second Open Fishing Day on Sunday 14th June. The weather and great fishing did not disappoint. Over 50 people attended on a warm and very sunny afternoon at the Grayswood Lake. Many of the families who attended stayed right to the end, all catching fish up to five pounds. The picture quiz proved popular with the youngsters as they were eating their barbeque burgers provided by the club. The Frensham Garden Centre and The Grayshott Tackle Shop kindly donated the prizes for the quiz . New members and families were enrolled with over £120 being raised for the Ben Williams Trust. The committee would like to thank everybody who attended and donated so generously.
