The lakes at Waggoners Wells are world renowned for their outstanding beauty and have been fished by such luminaries in the fishing world as Chris Yates, author and film-maker, as well as providing inspiration for poets such as Alfred Lord Tennyson.

The top pool is rarely fished but the middle and lower lakes provide some of the best fishing in our region with carp to thirty pounds and rich stocks of roach and perch. The water may be fished on a "Day Ticket" or exclusively by GAC members.

Simple baits of corn and maggot have proved successful in luring the "Monsters from the Deep".....ALL FISH MUST BE RETURNED TO THE WATER. PROSECUTIONS WILL BE SOUGHT OF THOSE WHO BREAK THIS BYE LAW.
