Adhesion of tissue to the bipolar forcep jaws is dependent on a number of factors including generator and the surface quality of the bipolar forceps. This unwanted affect is regularly seen during surgery involving liver tissue and neurosurgery.

These irrigated bipolar forceps have been designed with an integral irrigation channel which can be connected to a standard irrigation hose.

The coagulation area is irrigated by the channel inside the forcep branch. This irrigation substantially reduces the sticking to the bipolar forceps and helps maintain precise surgical work.
