The modular bipolar laparoscopy instrument can be connected using the appropriate adapter cable to most electrosurgical generators where the power does not exceed 60 Watts. An adapter can be connected to the handle so a standard bipolar fitting cable can be used with the laparascopic instrument.

The bipolar laparoscopy instrument separates into four parts (plus cable) ensuring effective cleaning of all areas. Due to its modular design, all parts are interchangeable and therefore easy to replace. All electrodes can be used with either the Ring Handle or Standard Handle.

The new bipolar laparoscopy forceps body with Ring Handle, designed with Dr A.Scarfi, allows convenient and efficient working and is particularly useful when using the bipolar scissors electrode. The Ring Handle is of course fully compatible with all the electrode options.

This instrument has been designed for connection to the bipolar output of the electrosurgical generators. Maximum power output shall not exceed 60 watts.
