The videoprocessor combines a light source and video camera in one compact unit. The device consists of an advanced high resolution colour CCD-camera and a xenon light source. The CCD-camera with full digital signal processing guarantees true colour reproduction and comfortable operation by On Screen Display (OSD). The xenon reflector lamp offers the professional user the most advanced pure daylight source. |

The 1/3" high resolution microlens CCD sensor in conjunction with the full digital signal processing of the CPU guarantees excellent image quality, high clarity and sharp detailed reproduction. The electronic high speed shutter (1/2,000,000 sec.) ensures correct light exposure even in extremely bright conditions without causing blooming effects. all settings of the camera are controlled by the OnScreen display. White balance is automatic via a push button and the correct settings are stored in memory when the unit is turned off. The Window Feature is used to improve the image illumination under harsh conditions. Only a central area of adjustable size is used to evaluate the image brightness, outer margins are disregarded. Other advanced features of the system include colour control, suitable for expert users, that is activated via the OSD. |
The lightweight camera head, cable and plug are waterproof and ergonomically designed. All lenses and couplers with C-Mount Thread can be connected. |

The built in lamp is a newly developed xenon gas discharge lamp, filled with no polluting xenon gas. The lamp design is optimised for endoscopy applications. Its design features a high efficiency reflector system, which focuses the light directly onto the fibrelight. When the lamp blows it is simply replaced with a new one within seconds - no adjustment required. Interchangeable adaptors ensure that the light source can be operated with all types of endoscopes, micro endoscopes and fiberscopes. | |
