Component Information
The Xenon XL-M Gastro offers the professional user the most advanced pure daylight source for use with fiberscopes.
It features an improved high intensity and low heat conductive xenon lamp and a powerful insufflation pump.
The output intensity of the lamp can be easily controlled via push button. The pump can be separately switched off in order to reduce noise level.

Lamp
Light Control
The lamp is a newly developed gas discharge bulb, filled with non-polluting xenon gas. The lamp design is optimised
for endoscopic applications. Its design features a high efficiency reflector system that focuses light more effectively
on the fiberoptic lightguide. When the lifetime of the lamp (500 hrs.) has expired, the lamp is simply replaced by a new
one within seconds - no tool and no adjustment required.
The output intensity of the XL-M Gastro is controlled via a motor-driven mechanical diaphragm. This ensures a constant colour temperature. The output intensity can be exactly set via push-button.
Connection
The XL-M Gastro is offered with standard adaptions for fiberscopes made by Olympus, Fujinon or Pentax. Using a suitable lightguide adaption, all rigid endoscopes can be connected to the lightsource.
