The HL 250 features two 250W halogen reflector lamps, the design of which has been optimised for endoscopic applications. It features a high efficiency reflector system which focuses light effectively on the light guide.
When the lifetime of one lamp has expired the spare lamp can be activated by simply turning the a knob and the examination can continue immediately. After having finished the examination the burned out lamp is simply replaced with a new one in seconds - with no further adjustments required. Built in soft start circuitry helps extend the lifetime of the lamp. |
The output intensity is controlled via a mechanical diaphragm. This ensures a constant colour temperature. |

An interchangeable adaptor ensures that the light source can be operated with all types of endoscopes, micro-endoscopes and fibre-scopes. Two switchable mains voltages (115/230)VAC allow the use of the light source nearly all around the world. |
