Component Information
The Mini Xenon offers the user a compact, lightweight XENON light source for use with various applications.
The extremly small focal spot ensures most effective coupling into the light guide and recommends the Mini Xenon as the perfect light source for applications, where thin instruments are used, like ENT, urology and gynecology.

Light Control
The lamp of the Mini Xenon was especially designed for use with endoscopic applications. It features a cold light reflector and an extremly small focal spot, that recommends this lamp for use with disciplines, where narrow bundles of light guide fiber's are used. This small focal spot ensures an optimal efficiency of coupling light into the fiberoptic lightguide.
The high efficiency of the lamp ensures that heat conductivity is kept at a very low level. This also allows using a low noise fan for cooling the lamp.
When the lifetime of the lamp has expired, the lamp is simply replaced by a new one within seconds - no further adjustment required.
The output intensity is controlled via a mechanical diaphragm. This ensures a constant colour temperature. A dial is used to set the light output intensity.
Connection
An interchangeable adapter ensures that the Mini Xenon can be operated with all types of endo-scopes, micro-endoscopes and fiberscopes.
