We are strictly No Smoking
On making a reservation, a non-refundable deposit of the first night’s stay will be required, or 50% of the total booking for a stay of four nights or more or groups. The balance will normally be due on departure.
There is a two night minimum booking on weekends, and three night minimum on Bank Holiday weekends.
Deposits for the first night's stay are non-refundable. There is a cancellation charge of 25% of the total booking (four nights or more) if we are informed of the cancellation up to 72 hours prior to 13.00 on the day of arrival. Cancellations made later than 72 hours prior to 13.00 on the day of arrival, or failure to inform us of non-arrival, will incur a charge of the whole booking amount (less deposit received). Where a reservation is made using a credit/debit card, that card will be debited with the cancellation charge. If a weekend stay is cancelled during a two or three night minimum booking, the whole booking period will be charged.
Where a booking is made for arrival to be within 72 hours, full payment must be made with a debit/credit card. No refunds can be given in the event of subsequent cancellation.
The balance of any booking will normally be required on departure, except for conference and block (three rooms or more) bookings where payment is required 2 weeks in advance of arrival date.
Check-in & Check-out
As we do not have a permanently manned reception, we would appreciate it if visitors could give an estimated time of arrival when booking. Check-in is usually after 14.00 (bags may be left earlier). We cannot guarantee check-ins after 21.00, so please ensure your arrival is possible before this time.. Checking-out time is 11.00 (bags may be left for collection later).
For the convenience and safety of all our guests, and in compliance with the law, Grey’s is strictly non-smoking.
Sorry, we are unable to accommodate babies and small children under 7 years old.
Non-guests may not be invited into the rooms without the prior consent of the management.
Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets.
Hen & Stag Parties
Sorry, we do not cater for stag or hen parties. Group members who book individually to circumvent this rule
may be asked to leave. In such circumstances no refunds are given.
Damage & Disturbance
We welcome all our guests and want you to have a relaxed, comfortable and problem-free visit. To make this possible for all please consider your behaviour and noise levels whilst in the hotel and in your room. Guests who wilfully ignore requests to stop causing a nuisance will be asked to leave. In such circumstances no refunds are given.
