Saving with the Credit Union couldn't be easier.........

You can save as little or as much as you like, when you like. Many of our members chose to use a monthly Standing Order, others prefer to visit one of our many Collection Points throughout our Common Bond. For full details of our Collection points, click

Employees of the University of Birmingham can save via 'Payroll Deduction'. You decide how much your want to save each pay period and it's deducted from your Salary and paid to us.

The Credit Union gives you free life Insurance on your Savings. This means that in the event of your death, your Savings are doubled at no cost to you. (Subject to age restriction - please ask for details).

The Credit Union doesn't pay interest to Savers, but instead pays a Dividend. The level of Dividend is dependant upon the performance of the Credit Union.

We have launched a special Xmas Savings Club. Unlike FarePak, CommuniSave members savings are protected. The Credit Union really is the safe place to save for Xmas (and for any other occasion too!)

Our Xmas Savings Club allows you to save as often as you wish with no minimum weekly
savings amount. You Savings are 'Locked Away' until the 1st of November so that your not
temped to 'Raid' them. On 1 November your Xmas Savings will be transfered to your Share
account. You can the withdraw your savings by either cash, a cheque or a transfer to you bank account. There's also the option of an Argos 'A' Card which gives you an extra 5% to spend at Argos and Homebase.
