Muse Shoes was a brand new business in February 2007, when owner manager Emma Woodcock opened her business. Since her new shop has opened, she has been the answer to many a woman’s prayer, both in the delivery of European sourced shoes, and their related accessories.

The new store is located Bawtry Road, Wickersley near Rotherham and the contract began with an empty space and turning into a designer retail space within four weeks. The shop was in fact completed ahead of the stock it was due to sell.

Hanson won the contract after a pitch with four other shop fitters. (Though this was not known at the time). Further retailer information can be found on the Muse Shoes website www.muse-shoes.co.uk

Hanson Contracts love working with forward looking retailers and niche youth clothing retailer Purple Monkey was no exception. This was a new site for the company, where Hanson Contracts looked at the colour scheme, the wall units, flooring and islands where clothing could be displayed. There is a good use of lighting variation enabling areas for product types to be developed, including illuminated counter displays.

The pictures show the before and after record of work undertaken. The newly refurbished store is located on Barber Road, Walkley, Sheffield and the contract was completed over a period of two weeks.

Job Required: Estate Agency Office Refurbishment

Blundells Estate Agents

Blundells Estate agencies are the largest estate agency chain in the Sheffield area and operate from 13 different local offices in order to maintain their customer service.

Hanson Contracts were originally contracted to refurbish one office, in order to judge the overall overall effectiveness of the work. This was a complete internal makeover, involving an office redesign including a purpose built lining of walls, change of lighting and new purpose-built office furniture, finishing off with new carpets and decorating. Outside, a new presentation of the Blundells corporate identity was established.

The quality of the finished installation was such that the directors of the agency were able to confirm a programme of office refurbishments, that has been steadily undertaken across through the branch network ever since.

Last year (2007). The company completed three different offices, located across Sheffield and North Derbyshire.

Client: Harold Jackson Junior School
Job Required: Change of use Classroom

Harold Jackson School, Kitchen before and after

Harold Jackson Junior School had acquired a budget that was to be applied to change a modest room area that had been in multi use, into something that could inspire young Jamie Olivers!

The project, undertaken to a tight timetable, involved interpreting a brief from the school in a way that would rebuild the room accommodation from scratch. This totally changed the room area and by designing and purpose building the elements within it, was able to ensure quality that will deliver long term service.
