Our Practice Guidelines

In order to give you and your pet the best possible care, we ask you to help us by following our practice guidelines:- Please, whenever possible, see us by attending one of the 17 surgeries we hold each week. These are open surgeries, no appointments are necessary, and we welcome new and existing clients on a first come first seen basis and, while we close the door at the advertised end of surgery time, we will always see everyone already waiting, no matter how late. We discourage requests for house calls as facilities for treatment are better at the surgeries, but we are happy to do them when necessary, at an extra charge. click here to Register your pet with us on-line now. For ALL cats' protection and comfort PLEASE bring them in secure TOP OPENING boxes or cages. All dogs must by law have a collar and lead. We do not like or recommend check (choke) chains or harnesses. Haltis are much more effective in controlling your pet and are much kinder. |
When ordering repeat medication, please contact us before 10.30am if possible and give the date of your previous prescription. These are then usually available in one hour or can be taken to Elburton branch surgery on request. Surgical procedures are carried out at the Peverell centre where 24 hour nursing care can be provided. Our fees are kept to a minimum, but please note they do include VAT. Please help us keep costs down by paying for treatment at the time and not putting us to the trouble of sending bills. We make a charge of £10 for completion of insurance claim forms. |
