This is the formal meeting of the Association to approve our accounts and most importantly thank all our volunteers who have helped us this year. The AGM and Celebration will take place on 234d June at 7.30pm in the Lounge.
Following the formal AGM we will thank all our Volunteers for their contribution this year. Volunteers play such an important role in our Community and our Centre, Events and Activities would not run without them.
During the AGM we consider what we need to do as a community and plan for our future. Our constitution states that we need a minimum of 25 members for the meeting to be quorate.
As well as approving the accounts we elect our officers and trustees for the following year. Our trustees play a very important role in the life of the Association………they work for the community on an unpaid basis and attend our 6 meetings a year.
The work of a trustee is not complex though and many find it an interesting way of giving back to the community. Our trustees help run some of our events and bring skills into the life of the association.
