This is the formal meeting of the Association to approve our accounts and reflect back on the last year. This year our meeting will take place on 8th October 2009 at 7.30pm.
It is also a time to look forward to the next year, to consider what we need to do as a community and plan for our future. Our constitution states that we need a minimum of 25 members for the meeting to be quorate.
As well as approving the accounts we elect our officers and trustees for the following year. Our trustees play a very important role in the life of the Association………they work for the community on an unpaid basis and attend our 6 meetings a year.
The work of a trustee is not complex though and many find it an interesting way of giving back to the community. Our trustees help run some of our events and bring skills into the life of the association.
