The Warren is the only youth facility in Hatch Warren & Beggarwood & runs 4 weekly activity sessions that engage young people from 10 – 19 years giving them a secure base, sense of purpose and routine and encourage them to become active members of the community. All sessions are free giving opportunities to those suffering economic hardship. We encourage young people of all abilities to get involved in sport; challenging them to do their best, work as a team & raise confidence in their skills. There is a huge range of activities including a Pool Table, Wii, PS3, Table Tennis Table and Air Hockey Table. We often use the playing fields and MUGA (multi use games area)
Our existing funding from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council will end in April 2012. We need to raise funds from local people and businesses to enable this excellent facility to continue. Please consider how you could help either by donating money or time (as a volunteer). If you are able to give money now, please click on this link to donate via Local Giving. They will match fund our donation pot for one week only - don't delay - donate today!! Localgiving.com
