Wii Motor Sports
Wii Motor Sports is a game rumored to be in development for Nintendo's Wii console. To date, only an airplane game has been demonstrated.
One of the games demonstrated at E3 was Wii Sports: Airplane. In an interview with Nintendo Power Magazine, Katsuya Eguchi, the producer of Wii Sports, stated that the airplane game was part of a tentative "Wii Motor Sports" category. Eguchi suggested that, if the title were to be developed, it would contain several games featuring easy-to-operate vehicles, such as a jet-ski-themed Wave Race game. However, in an interview with IGN, Eguchi said of the Airplane game:
It is included in the Wii Sports category. When Wii Sports does become an actual product, we're not sure if the Airplane demo will be included, but that is the current goal.
Gameplay
The airplane is controlled by physically moving the controller, so that pointing it down will cause the plane to pitch down as well. It is not yet clear what the object of this game is, but recent videos have confirmed that one of the objectives is flying through rings (making it perhaps similar to Pilotwings).
