Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Trauma Center: Second Opinion is the second game in the Trauma Center series. The series has now moved to the Wii, set to be a launch title for the system, and is expected to make full use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk attachment. According to Nintendo Official Magazine, the game will take place in the Caduceus building (Both Myers and Kasal can be seen in the E³ Trailer) and have at least one new tool, the Defibrillator. It is currently being prepped to ship alongside the Wii as a "Day One" launch title.
The game will be an enhanced and expanded port of the original Trauma Center: Under the Knife for the DS, which Atlus has dubbed a "wii-make". New animations, surgical tools, operation types, and missions have also been confirmed, as well as a second playable character and multiple difficulty modes. The game will also feature redone controls designed for the Wii's controller. For example, a recent interview revealed that you can use forceps by pressing the A and B buttons on the Wii remote simultaneously. As the A button is on top of the remote, and the B button beneath, this simulates the actual squeezing needed to pick something up with tweezers.
