We
are offering one lucky blighter the chance
to experience all that Safi has to offer. Two nights accommodation at
Safi, half day surf lesson (including equipment and professional instruction),
one case of locally brewed Cribbar Beer and a meal* at one of Newquay’s
premier seafood restaurants await. And don’t worry about being
lonely, we will let you bring a friend along to enjoy it all.
All we want from you is an
image on the theme of "what i did at the weekend". It could
be a photo from your phone, a doodle on a notepad, a collage or even
an oil painting – we don’t care as long it allows you to
unleash your artistic talent. The winning entrant will also have their
image published as part of our next advertising campaign in February’s
edition of the always fantastic 24/7 magazine. When we get some entries
we will set up a gallery with the best creations - the elite of the
underground art world.
We only have a couple requests;
1. The image should
measure 5cms wide x 8cms high, be
the senders own work and be of a high/good print quality
(no entries above 500kb please!).
2. Obviously we are governed by certain publishing
laws so bear this in mind if you want to win.
What we
can’t print we will certainly give a special little award for
at least making us laugh.
If you fancy your chances, send your entries via e-mail
to iloverolf@mysafi.com
with 'I Love Rolf Competition'
as the subject heading.
Alternatively you can send your works via the trusty postal service
to:
I Love Rolf Competition, Safi, Narrowcliff Seafront, Newquay, Cornwall.
TR7 2PH.
Don’t forget to add the title of your work along
with your name, where you are from and a way for us to get in touch.
*Up to the value of £30 (don't get
greedy). All artwork is sent at the owners risk and no responsibility
can be taken by Safi for any damage or loss. All personal details will
not be kept after the closing date, we won’t even send you an
e-mail or drop you a line. Everything sent will be destroyed in a BBQ
unless you request it not to. If you would like to have your piece returned
to you, please enclose a stamped address envelope. Competition entries
will be accepted until Friday 7th January 2005. Judging
will take place at Safi on the 10th and 11th of January 2005.
Good luck and get creative...
Mr Harris
does in no way endorse or condone this competition (but would
probably win if he entered). |
