Broken Chains Broken Chains, Kilmarnock aims to assist people of Kilmarnock and surrounding area who are marginalised because of homelessness issues and /or substance use. We seek to create a safe place for clients to meet and be encouraged to feel valued and secure in accordance with both legislation relating to the Protection of Vulnerable People and a Christian ethos of compassion. We welcome all regardless of age, ethnic origin, social standing, ability, gender, belief or political affiliation recognising the value of our many differences. We provide a free and nutritionally balanced hot meal to all clients in accordance with legislation relating to safe food handling. We provide the opportunity for clients to participate in Christian worship and listen to an encouraging message shared from a Christian perspective (taking part in this is not a necessary prerequisite to eating) and we promote the availability of a wide range of secular and faith based health and social services
