Le Mesurier was a good friend of Tony Hancock and guested
on many episodes of the "Hancock's Half Hour"
TV Series in the 1950's and 1960's.
He features prominently as the Colonel who gets stuck in
a lift with Hancock and several other characters in the
BBC TV Centre on this soundtrack for the TV episode "The
Lift" from Hancock's final BBC series in 1961.
