I recently discovered the existence of this album advertised on the reverse of another BBC Themes LP from 1974. The album features a version of the Dad's Army theme played by Norrie Paramor (well known as a top pop producer for Cliff Richard and The Shadows in the 1960's) and The Midland Radio Orchestra.

The cover features a collage from many TV shows including Dad's Army which features an illustration of Captain Mainwaring and Jones' Butchers Van. The version of the theme is perhaps not the best representation of the Dad's Army theme tune as it isn't really inkeeping with either of the versions featured on the TV show.
