By
1977, the Dad's Army theme tune had done the rounds
on a few TV Compilation albums.
Pickwick
opted for this low budget, value for money cover version
recording containing no less than 50 themes from programme's
as diverse as Coronation Street to Nationwide.
Dad's
Army is represented here by a pleasant orchestral version
of the theme tune, owing more tempo to the opening credits
of the programme than the closing.
In
all fairness, some of the recordings aren't bad, but it
looks like the designer of the LP cover ran out of photographs
after starting his collage.
