I've
included this recent 2 CD set here merely for the reason
that it is probably the best current sixties TV themes album
available and includes the complete version of the title
song from "Dad's Army" as recorded by Bud
Flanagan back in 1968.
The
song itself lasts for just over a minute but it is good
to hear in prestine quality.
Other
highlights of the album are original versions of the themes
from "Steptoe &
Son", "Thunderbirds", "Stingray",
"A Man In A Suitcase"
and of course "The Avengers".
